Buyer – Aerospace Electronics Manufacturing Location: Van Nuys, CA (100% Onsite) Salary: $75,000 – $80,000 per year Employment Type: Direct Hire What You'll Do Source and purchase electronic components, PCB/PCBA materials, and related manufacturing supplies based on customer Bills of Materials (BOMs) and production schedules. Create, issue, and manage purchase orders within an ERP/MRP system (Epicor experience is a plus). Negotiate pricing, lead times, delivery schedules, and supplier agreements to meet cost, quality, and delivery objectives. Monitor MRP demand and material requirements to ensure production schedules are met. Manage open purchase orders, expedite critical materials, and resolve component shortages. Identify alternate sources, cost‑saving opportunities, and end‑of‑life (EOL) solutions while maintaining approved supplier requirements. Partner closely with Engineering, Planning, Program Management, Production, Quality, and Receiving to support on‑time customer deliveries. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while monitoring supplier performance.
