Human Resources Specialist

Overview Avance Care is in the business of improving the standard of healthcare. We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer service-focused Human Resources Onboarding Coordinator to join our HR team. This role provides essential administrative support across a variety of HR functions, including employee records , reporting , recruiting , onboarding , and HR systems . This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days in office per week. Flexible on dates in the office. Duties & Responsibilities Support recruitment activities, including job postings, interview coordination, candidate communication, offers, and pre-employment screening. Coordinate onboarding for providers, support staff, and corporate employees, serving as a primary point of contact throughout the process. Partner with Credentialing, Operations, IT, Finance, Marketing, and other departments to ensure timely and successful onboarding. Coordinate onboarding meetings, checklists, site readiness, access, equipment, and orientation logistics. Maintain accurate onboarding records, track outstanding requirements, and identify and elevate delays or issues. Prepare and process provider employment contracts in accordance with approved hiring terms and company guidelines. Coordinate employee terminations and other personnel actions, including required documentation and HRIS updates. Manage student clinical rotation onboarding and serve as a liaison with educational institutions, including coordination of affiliation agreements. Maintain accurate HRIS data and personnel files. Track employee training, continuing education, licensure, certifications, and other compliance requirements. Respond to employee and manager requests through the HR ticketing system. Prepare routine HR reports and complete audits as needed. Support HR process improvements, special projects, and other department initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications Education High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred. Experience & Skills Prior HR, recruiting, training, or customer service experience preferred. UKG experience strongly preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through. Proficiency with HR systems and other job-related technology. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing needs. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
