As a Painter you will:Work in a safe manner, adhering to all safety policies and procedures, and ensuring those nearby are working safelyPrepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as neededApply primers, paints, and coatings using spray, brush, or dip techniquesInspect painted parts to ensure quality and compliance with specificationsMaintain and clean painting booths, equipment, and work areasCollaborate with team members to meet production deadlinesDocument work processes and maintain accurate production recordsThis is a full-time opportunity 1st Shift. The ideal candidate will have:Required Skills & Qualifications: Previous experience in industrial painting (aerospace industry preferred)Knowledge of painting techniques and materialsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to perform basic math operations (add, subtract, multiply, divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals)Basic computer skillsPreferred Skills & Qualifications: Experience in a manufacturing or production environmentOccasional lifting of up to 20 poundsFrequently working near heavy machinery or equipmentAbility to meet the demands of a manufacturing environmentPay Rate: $19.00 – $25 per hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
