Volt is immediately hiring for Painter in South Gate, CA. Join our team | Climate Controlled | Long Term Assignment | Your Safety is our #1 Concern. As a Painter you will:

• Work in a safe manner, adhering to all safety policies and procedures, and ensuring those nearby are working safely
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed
• Apply primers, paints, and coatings using spray, brush, or dip techniques
• Inspect painted parts to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
• Maintain and clean painting booths, equipment, and work areas
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines
• Document work processes and maintain accurate production records

This is a full-time opportunity 1st Shift. The ideal candidate will have:

• Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in industrial painting (aerospace industry preferred)
  • Knowledge of painting techniques and materials
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to perform basic math operations (add, subtract, multiply, divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals)
  • Basic computer skills

• Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds
  • Frequently working near heavy machinery or equipment
  • Ability to meet the demands of a manufacturing environment

Pay Rate: $19.00 $25 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
