We're looking for an experienced Auto Body Painter who shares our commitment to quality and attention to detail.The Auto Body Painter is responsible for preparing, refinishing, and painting vehicles to manufacturer and customer specifications. This role requires a high level of craftsmanship, precision, and efficiency while maintaining Xclusive Auto Collision's reputation for premium-quality finishes. The ideal candidate is experienced with modern paint systems, color matching, and refinishing techniques, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Key responsibilities include:Prepare vehicles and components for paint by sanding, masking, priming, and cleaning surfaces.Mix and match paint colors using computerized and manual color-matching systems.Apply primers, base coats, clear coats, and specialty finishes using professional spray equipment.Perform blending techniques to achieve seamless paint transitions and OEM-quality finishes.Inspect painted surfaces for quality, consistency, and defects, completing polishing and refinishing as required.Work closely with body technicians and the production team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.Maintain paint booth cleanliness, equipment, and tools in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and shop standards.Follow all safety procedures related to paint materials, hazardous waste disposal, and personal protective equipment (PPE).Assist with custom paint projects, restorations, and specialty refinishing as required.Maintain accurate records of paint materials used and communicate any supply or equipment needs to management.Take pride in delivering exceptional workmanship while meeting production deadlines.
