Overview Registered Nurse – Emergency Department travel assignment in a short-term acute care setting located in Sonora, CA. Start date 08/31/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range: $1,988–$2,087. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour nights. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,988–$2,087 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3×12-hour nights Start date: 08/31/2026 Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital ER Responsibilities Deliver direct, evidence-based nursing care to ER patients using the nursing process Monitor patient status, administer medications and treatments per protocol, and adjust care plans as needed Collaborate with physicians, nursing colleagues, and ancillary teams to coordinate timely, safe patient care Document thoroughly in the electronic health record, with EPIC experience utilized to support care delivery Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education to ensure continuity of care after transition Requirements Registered Nurse license active in the state of practice (California preferred/required) BLS certification; CPR or equivalent required ACLS and PALS certification required EPIC experience is required Minimum 2 years of recent ER or acute care experience BSN preferred; ADN acceptable with relevant experience Benefits and Support Dedicated recruiter and assignment support throughout the travel period Credentialing and onboarding assistance to facilitate a smooth start 24/7 access to clinical and operational support during the assignment Orientation and access to on-site resources to help you acclimate quickly Potential extension opportunities based on unit needs and performance Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
