Key Responsibilities:

· Consistently exceed expectations for on-time completion of assigned work and production objectives.

· Demonstrate a thorough understanding of production schedules and proactively identify potential issues, delays, or constraints that may impact production timelines.

· Perform complete assembly tasks independently and conduct comprehensive quality inspections to ensure assemblies meet all checklist requirements, specifications, and workmanship standards.

· Understand downstream assembly and production processes and proactively address potential issues before they affect subsequent operations.

· Demonstrate a positive attitude, professionalism, and leadership presence that promotes teamwork, productivity, and continuous improvement.

· Train, mentor, and support entry level Mechanical Assemblers I and skilled Mechanical Assemblers in work center procedures, assembly techniques, quality standards, troubleshooting methods, and safe work practices.

· Serve as a technical resource for the work center by providing guidance, problem-solving assistance, and expertise to team members.

· Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement through active participation in training, coaching, and process enhancement initiatives.

· Lead by example through consistent adherence to company policies, safety requirements, quality standards, and production expectations.

· Operate power/hand tools, measuring devices, and instruments used for assembly.

· Consistently wear and utilize all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, cut-resistant gloves, safety footwear, and other designated safety equipment.

· Support and maintain 5S workplace organization standards and housekeeping requirements within the assigned work center.

· Understand and follow quality standards and workmanship requirements for assigned tasks and responsibilities.

· Education: High School Diploma/GED required

· Experience: One year of continuous experience in a manufacturing environment required

· Reading Ability: Must be able to read and understand English

Skills:

· Basic computer skills.

· Ability to read tape measures and perform basic measurements in standard and metric units.

· Accurately interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, and written assembly instructions.

· Perform mechanical equipment troubleshooting according to inspection procedures.

· Maintain high-quality output and on-time delivery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

· Exhibit strong attention to detail.

· Provide flexible support across all production areas as needed.

Physical Demands:

This position differs from a typical assembly line role. Employees do not remain in one location throughout the shift. The assembly process requires working inside, around, and on top of large enclosures, including the use of scissor lifts and performing work at heights of 16-18 feet. Applicants should be comfortable working in elevated positions and in a physically active manufacturing environment.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, lift and/or move up to 40 lbs., bend, use hands, and fingers for 8 + hours. (Overtime may be required)
