About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director to lead its mission of providing affordable housing and fostering community strength. The successful candidate will be the chief executive officer, responsible for the organization's strategic direction, operational excellence, financial health, and cultural vitality. This role demands a dynamic, mission-committed leader who can champion the cause of affordable housing and engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including future homeowners, volunteers, donors, and community partners. The Executive Director will be tasked with deepening the organization's impact, strengthening fundraising efforts, and expanding community partnerships, all while ensuring sound fiscal management and leading a high-performing, mission-driven team. The ideal Executive Director for the company will have a proven track record in nonprofit leadership, with a focus on housing or related social impact sectors. They should be adept at navigating the complex landscape of housing development, including land acquisition, permitting, financing, and construction. A holistic approach to community development, such as financial literacy training and homeownership education, is essential. The role is pivotal, as the organization is at a stage of growth and evolution, requiring the incoming leader to be innovative, adaptable, and capable of responding to the evolving housing challenges.
