We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bakery Production Manager to lead our bakery manufacturing operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire production process, ensuring that high-quality baked goods are produced efficiently, safely, and in alignment with company standards. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize manufacturing workflows, and foster a culture of excellence within the bakery environment. Duties
- Bake off breads, muffins, pastries, and other bakery products.
- Manage daily production to minimize shrink and maximize sales.
- Order bakery products and supplies. Packaging
- Introduce new items and deal with vendors on new items
- Maintain food safety, freshness, rotation, and sanitation standards.
- Merchandise and stock the bakery throughout the day.
- Track sales, margins, costs, and waste.
- Develop seasonal displays and holiday programs.
- Train bakery associates and oversee daily operations.
- Work closely with store management on sales goals.
Skills
- Grocery or retail bakery experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of production planning and ordering.
- Ability to manage inventory and control shrink.
- Organized and able to work independently.
- Experience supervising employees is a plus.
