Biomedical Science Faculty, Non-Tenure Track, Anatomy The proposed College of Osteopathic Medicine at Xavier University(XUCOM) invites applications for non-tenure-track faculty in theDivision of Anatomy. The 12-month positions beginning in June of2027 is involved in the creation, development, and delivery of thebasic science medical curriculum, the creation and evaluation ofassessments, operation of the gross anatomy lab, and providementorship and guidance for medical students. The biomedicalscience faculty report to the Associate Dean of Faculty and MedicalPrograms. XUCOM is the first osteopathic medical school at a Jesuit CatholicUniversity. To fulfill its mission, XUCOM will integrate JesuitCatholic traditions and values with Osteopathic Principles andPractice; our mission is infused in all that we do. Xavier is anEOE. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Designs and delivers curricular content within the College of Osteopathic Medicine Involved in the creation of assessments within the curriculum of the College of Osteopathic Medicine Advises and mentors students of XUCOM Contributes to the mission of the college through teaching and service Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Required: Terminal degree in discipline related to medical education(PhD, MD, DO) Preferred: 1-3 years teaching experience in medical education or graduate education Evidence of student mentoring Applicants with expertise in histology and histological techniques will be especially considered POSITION: 2 - Twelve-month, non-tenure track positions RANK/SALARY: Rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience Xavier University is part of the 500-year-old Jesuit Catholic tradition of academic excellence in the liberal arts.
