Registered Nurse (RN) - Float

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team as a Float Nurse. This vital role offers the opportunity to provide top-tier patient care across multiple units, including ICU, Med/Surg/Tele, and Emergency Department, ensuring seamless coverage and maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence. Pay: $2,568 Weekly

Shift: 6:45pm - 7:15am

Required Skills

• Valid RN license in New York
• AHA BLS certification is required
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience or 2 years ED experience with triage skills
• At least 1 year of Med/Surg/Tele experience
• Proficient in Epic electronic medical record system
• Strong ability to adapt to different clinical environments and patient acuity levels
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience as a Charge Nurse
• Additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS
• Prior experience in triage or emergency response

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in ICU, ED, or Med/Surg/Tele units

Other Requirements

• Must be willing to work every other weekend and holiday shifts
• Ability to navigate multiple units and adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Flexibility to cover shifts in ICU, Med/Surg/Tele, or ED as needed
