Role Description The Patient Care Coordinator - Plastic Surgery Sales is a full-time, on-site role located in Austin, TX. This position is responsible for welcoming and guiding patients through their cosmetic journey, including coordinating consultations, explaining treatment options, and supporting patients before and after procedures. Daily tasks include managing appointment schedules, answering phone and email inquiries, conducting initial screening conversations, and providing accurate information about services, procedures, and pricing. The role also involves maintaining detailed patient records, ensuring clear communication between patients and clinical staff, and following up with leads to support practice growth. The coordinator works closely with the surgeon and team to deliver an exceptional patient experience, from first contact to post-procedure follow-up. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Appointment Scheduling skills and the ability to manage calendars efficiently. Candidates should possess professional Phone Etiquette skills and clear, empathetic communication abilities. Candidates should possess solid Care Coordination skills to guide patients through the consultation and treatment process. Candidates should possess familiarity with Medical Terminology, especially related to plastic surgery and aesthetic procedures. Candidates should possess patient-centered Patient Care skills, with a focus on relationship building and trust. Previous experience in a medical, med spa, or cosmetic surgery setting, especially in a sales or patient coordinator role, is highly beneficial. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion are required. Comfort discussing elective procedures, pricing, and financing options in a professional and ethical manner is important. Proficiency with practice management or CRM software and basic computer skills (email, scheduling systems, electronic records) is preferred.
