Carrier Development Representative
\nLocation: Chicago, IL (Onsite), Austin, TX, Dallas TX or St Louis, MO
\n \nJoin a fast-growing, technology-driven third-party logistics provider that combines innovative supply chain solutions with a strong freight brokerage operation. \n \nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Source, develop, and maintain relationships with truckload carriers. \n
- Make high-volume outbound calls (80+ per day) to build carrier capacity. \n
- Negotiate freight rates to maximize profitability. \n
- Match available freight with carrier capacity. \n
- Monitor shipments and proactively resolve service issues. \n
- Track freight documentation and ensure billing accuracy. \n
- Research market trends, carrier capacity, and pricing to support sales. \n
- Deliver outstanding service to carrier partners while growing the carrier network. \n
What We're Looking For

- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. \n
- Motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment. \n
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing market conditions. \n
- Previous sales, customer service, or logistics experience is preferred but not essential. \n
