Job Summary We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg/Progressive Care Float Pool. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high‑quality, efficient care in our medical‑surgical and telemetry/progressive care environments. Responsibilities Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Progressive Care level patients. Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions. Maintain and review patients’ records, including posting tests and examination results. Administer medications in accordance with physician orders. Qualifications Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or an appropriate compact licensure (with an active FL RN license within 60 days of hire if a compact license is held). Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred. Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred. Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required. Current American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required (6‑month grace period from hire date). Current NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification required (6‑month grace period from hire date). Must possess critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills; ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions; proficiency with PC skills.
