Diabetes Sales Specialist-Portland, ME

Abbott

Abbott seeks a Diabetes Sales Specialist in Portland, Maine to drive sales of glucose monitoring products within the diabetes care division. The role involves building relationships with healthcare providers, executing territory plans, and maintaining knowledge of competitive positioning in a field-based capacity.

Responsibilities

Meet or exceed sales quotas and objectives for Abbott Diabetes Care products
Build and maintain relationships with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare constituents
Collaborate across managed care, retail, and point-of-care channels
Develop and execute territory, account, and call plans with measurable goals
Monitor competitive products and market trends; document activities and maintain compliance

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
2-4 years of sales experience with demonstrated success track record
Excellent communication skills and high energy
Strong integrity and ambition to succeed
Preferred: 4+ years relevant sales experience in healthcare
Preferred: Diabetes clinical knowledge and endocrinologist account experience
