As part of one of the top employee-owned companies in the U.S., team members benefit directly from our success through annual stock awards, competitive pay, and strong benefits.POSITION SUMMARYAs our HR Generalist you will support the day-to-day HR operations across the employee life cycle, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, training, reporting, payroll, community activities, and HR project support. This role works closely with employees, supervisors, and leadership to promote consistent HR practices, support business needs, and contribute to a positive employee experience.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSTo accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without accommodation.Support our workforce by executing and overseeing weekly payroll and various administrative functions.Support compliance activities related to employment practices, training requirements, workplace policies, and required reporting.Coordinate recruiting and onboarding activities, including candidate communication, interview scheduling, on site interview support, new hire paperwork, and new employee orientations.Support employee relations matters, workplace investigations, corrective action, and performance management processes in partnership with HR leadership.Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HR system data in accordance with company policies and applicable legal requirements, workplace policies and required reporting.Assist with the administration of leaves of absence, workplace accommodations, worker's compensation, and return to work processes as assigned.Assist in strategic planning and reporting across locations.Work on human resources projects as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered. Minimum of 5 years of HR Generalist or related HR experience. Prior manufacturing or industrial HR experience preferred. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, HRIS/payroll systems, and HR communication tools. Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONSExperience supporting hourly and salaried employee populations. Experience with employee relations, investigations, attendance management, and policy interpretation. Experience with HR reporting, HRIS data entry, and compliance tracking.PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTSMust have an innovative mindset, willing to contribute new ideas taking acceptable risks, following through to completion.
