Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment VISA for this position at this time About the Role: Our R&D engineers are tasked with designing and developing innovative, breakthrough next-generation medical devices that improve and extend the lives of patients around the world. Boston Scientific Interventional Oncology & Embolization (IO&E) is the market leader in therapeutics and tools for interventional radiologists, featuring Y90 microspheres, ablation devices, embolic devices and a selection of ancillary products. Get exposure to what it is like working in a Fortune 500 medical device company. Design, fabricate, and prototype new device designs to address clinical feedback. Develop new and innovative test methods for in vitro device testing. Assist new product development teams in device development and testing. Research and analyze, clinical and market data for new market opportunities. Required Qualifications: Must graduate between December 2027 and May 2028 Currently pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Must be able to commit to one of the following full internship program periods: May 17th - August 6th OR May 24th - August 13th Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization Must have reliable transportation to and from the Maple Grove, MN (Arbor Lakes) Boston Scientific Corporate location Preferred Qualifications: Ability to communicate effectively with diverse cross-functional teams.
