A travel opportunity for pharmacists with hospital experience is available in Wisconsin. This position supports a 250-bed facility with a focus on inpatient pharmaceutical care, primarily covering the third shift (9:00 PM to 7:00 AM) on a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule. The workweek typically begins on Wednesday, offering a consistent rhythm for those seeking a balanced work-life pattern.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately according to hospital protocols and physician orders.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes.
• Utilize electronic health record systems, including Cerner and Omnicell, to manage medication orders and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and safety standards specific to hospital pharmacy practice.
• Provide patient education and address medication-related inquiries when appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Licensure as a Pharmacist in Wisconsin or willingness to obtain an Act 10 temporary license promptly.
• Experience in a hospital pharmacy setting with familiarity managing inpatient medication distribution.
• Proficiency in Cerner and Omnicell IT systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced clinical environment.

Location: Madison, Wisconsin area, with assignment based in Marshfield at a 250-bed hospital.
