About the Position

We are seeking a Locum Urology Physician to provide ongoing coverage in Gettysburg, PA. The role includes outpatient clinic care, urology procedures, OR coverage & daytime hospital responsibilities including rounds and consultations.

• Evaluate & treat adult urology patients
• Provide outpatient clinic services
• Perform general urology procedures
• Participate in OR cases
• Perform hospital rounds
• Evaluate inpatient urology consultations
• Provide daytime hospital call coverage
• Perform ureteroscopies and other standard urologic procedures
• Occasionally accommodate additional clinic patients while covering hospital call
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC
• Collaborate with clinical & surgical staff

• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• No nighttime call
• No weekend call
• Daytime hospital call may include rounding, consultations & OR coverage
• Initial coverage dates:
• 11/02–11/06/2026
• 11/23–11/25/2026 & 11/27/2026
• 11/30–12/04/2026
• 12/21/2026–12/24/2026
• 12/28–12/31/2026
• Ongoing coverage available

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
• Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC LOQ in hand
• DEA registration required
• Minimum 3 years of experience preferred
• New graduates may be considered
• General urology experience required
• EPIC experience preferred
• Clean credentialing file preferred for temporary privileges
