Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner - Emergency Department - PRN

Role: Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) providing compassionate, timely care to sexual assault victims. Responsibilities: Conduct medical-forensic exams, provide prophylaxis for pregnancy and STIs, document findings photographically, and facilitate medical, psychological, and legal follow-up support. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Nursing program; BSN preferred. Valid and current RN license in Texas. Current SANE certification from the Texas Attorney General or in-progress, with certification obtained within 6 months of hire. Current TNCC or completion within 6 months of hire. Experience: Two years of Emergency Department or Acute Care experience preferred. Skills: Compassionate communication, forensic documentation, and ability to work flexible hours including on-call shifts.
