Certified Peer Support Specialist (Hybrid Remote Part-Time/As Needed)

Are you a Wisconsin Certified Peer Specialist passionate about supporting individuals and families impacted by substance use and mental health challenges Join Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan (LSS) and use your lived experience to help families heal grow and thrive in their communities.

As part of our evidence-based Family Centered Treatment (FCT) team youll provide peer support services to families navigating recovery while receiving weekly individual and team supervision ongoing training and professional development.

What Youll Do

• Provide peer support services to individuals and families engaged in substance use recovery.
• Partner with families using the evidence-based FCT model.
• Collaborate with treatment teams community partners and support systems.
• Maintain timely and accurate electronic documentation.
• Participate in weekly supervision team meetings and peer reviews.
• Provide flexible support including some evening appointments and participation in an on-call support rotation.

Qualifications

Required:

• Wisconsin Certified Peer Specialist certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
• Ability to meet LSS driving and insurance requirements
• Successful completion of background check

Preferred:

• Experience working with family systems trauma mental health and/or substance use disorders
• Bilingual Spanish skills
