Contract (13-week or 18-week options available) | Nights | 4×12-Hour Shifts | 19:00-07:30

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional skilled nursing care to a diverse intermediate care patient population, including patients with cerebrovascular accident (CVA), transient ischemic attack (TIA), seizures, and other neurological conditions.
• Deliver care to high-risk respiratory patients, including those requiring heated high-flow oxygen and BiPAP support; ventilator experience is required .
• Participate in a team nursing model in which RNs, LPNs, and PCTs partner together to care for patient groups, functioning in either team or primary nursing depending on unit needs.
• Maintain targeted patient ratios of 1:4-6 and support staffing across appropriate unit clusters as directed, including high-risk respiratory and neuroscience areas.
• Float within the primary campus and to nearby campuses as needed based on census and skill set, with no restrictions or special requests.
• Work every other weekend and every other holiday as part of the assignment schedule.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (any active state license or compact license accepted).
• BLS , ACLS , and NIH Stroke Scale certification required.
• Demonstrated IMC, PCU, or Stepdown experience with a 1:5 patient ratio - this must be clearly reflected in work history; ICU experience alone does not qualify.
• Ventilator experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Must pass an online EKG/Dysrhythmia competency assessment within 72 hours of contract signing.
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local travelers are not accepted.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• IV start certification preferred.
• Experience with heated high-flow oxygen and BiPAP in a high-acuity respiratory setting.
