Business Development Manager

Corporate Growth Strategist
A prominent manufacturer specializing in cutting and shaping machinery is in need of a Corporate Growth Strategist to drive business expansion in Houston, TX. The primary focus of this role is to boost sales of capital equipment (such as Press Brakes or Laser machinery), engage with clients, and demonstrate technical proficiency in metal fabrication.
Responsibilities:
- Implement regional strategies for press brake sales
- Conduct live demonstrations of equipment and showcase technical capabilities
- Acquire new clients and nurture existing relationships
- Take charge of the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals
- Maintain a well-organized CRM pipeline and keep track of market trends
- Offer technical assistance and provide application guidance
- Represent the company at industry events and customer gatherings
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in press brake or Laser Sales
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets in industrial sectors
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Solid mechanical understanding and the capability to explain complex technical ideas
- Self-motivated, organized, and proficient at working autonomously across multiple states
