Hixen Search Group is seeking a Construction Controller. The company, a well-known and growing full-cycle Real Estate Developer, is looking for the right-hand to the CFO. The successful candidate will oversee the Company's construction accounting team and own the monthly close, operating budgets/forecasting, financial reporting, & process improvements for this division. Looking for someone with a CPA, Public Accounting and construction industry experience who is willing to live in the details while also working on high-level matters. Responsibilities: Daily interaction with CFO on high-level strategic matters for the team/company Manage the construction accounting team Own the month-end close, job costing/WIP reporting, project profitability analysis Work directly with Senior Management & Project Management leaders Create financial projections and forecasting + internal reporting used across the company Lead annual audit Build process improvements as company continues to grow and scale Why This Opportunity: Well-known and respected company with strong leadership team True impact, working alongside CFO while overseeing team Outward facing role, working with Development, Property Management, and Project Management leaders weekly Operational Finance type of role - accounting foundation but well-rounded Hybrid schedule: 4/1 is ideal but open to 3/2 Desired Candidate Profile: 8+ years of accounting experience Construction experience is required CPA + Public Accounting experience preferred Ability to work with C-Suite and Operational leaders Great communication skills - interacting with various levels of employees #J-18808-Ljbffr
