Licensed Therapist (Outpatient SUD/Co-Occurring Mental Health)

Location: Turnersville, NJ
Employment Type: Full-Time (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday-Friday; some Sunday requirements
Setting: Outpatient Substance Use Disorder / Co-Occurring Mental Health

Job Overview:
We are seeking a licensed Therapist to provide substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health services in an outpatient setting. The therapist will provide individual and group counseling, develop service plans, complete clinical documentation, and support clients with appropriate resources and referrals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions

• Develop and update individualized service plans

• Provide SUD and co-occurring mental health services

• Complete assessments and clinical documentation

• Maintain accurate client records in EMR

• Connect clients with appropriate community resources and referrals

• Apply evidence-based approaches, including CBT and social learning principles

• Collaborate with the clinical team and support client progress

Requirements:

• Master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health, Counseling, Social Work, or Addiction-related field

• Active New Jersey license: LCADC, LPC, LAC, LCSW, LSW, or CADC

• New graduates may be considered with a qualifying master's degree and NJ license

• Experience with substance use/addictive behaviors preferred

• Strong assessment, group facilitation, communication, and documentation skills

• Basic computer/EMR proficiency

• Ability to work effectively with clients in an outpatient setting
