Security Officer - Full Time Unarmed Patrol

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Compliance in Redwood City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic university location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming campus environment. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with students, staff, and visitors, and respond to security-related needs with integrity, teamwork, reliability, and care. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $26.80 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM Wed: 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM Thur: 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM Fri: 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM Sat: 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas; report maintenance issues, hazards, and unusual conditions to appropriate personnel. Prepare clear and accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff information in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements. Minimum Requirements: At least two years of security-related experience is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card or license is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
