Job Title: PACU RN

Must-Have:
- EPIC charting experience
- IV therapy skills, including blood products and central/PICC line care
- Respiratory care knowledge for ventilated patients
- Neuro skills related to surgeries and assessments
- Cardiac management experience with various medications


Description:
POSITION: PACU RN


SCHEDULING DETAILS AND CHARTING
Shift hours: 3x12s from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
Charting system experience: EPIC is required
Weekend requirement: May include every other weekend or six weekend shifts in a six-week scheduling block
On-call requirement: Call rotation with staff based on a sign-up sheet
RTO, Block, and Special Scheduling Requests: All requests must be included in the submission
Call-off policy: Facility is permitted to call off one shift per two weeks
Holiday requirement: Must work one holiday per 13-week contract


REQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS
- IV therapy (blood products, central/PICC line care, IV starts)
- Respiratory care for ventilated patients, chest tubes, airway management
- Neuro procedures related to craniotomy, EVD, spine surgery
- Cardiac management, including antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, vasopressors, opioids
- Surgical procedure assistance for various specialties
- Patient monitoring and assessments, including lab values and pain management
- Experience in pediatrics and pre/post-operative care


UNIT DETAILS AND FLOATING
Ratios: 1:2
Diverse patient population, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
Surgical specialties include trauma, bariatric, ENT, gastroenterology, gynecology, and more
Floating within the skill set may be required
