As a Security Officer Access Coordinator in Pittston, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy retail distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and visitor access, and support daily operations through professional communication and customer service. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while working with a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, and acting with integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and document authorized access in accordance with post procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of communication.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, receiving areas, loading zones, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, report unusual activity, and support personnel, visitors, and/or vendors with security-related concerns and directions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
