Echocardiographer

Schedule

This is a day shift position with 8-hour shifts from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM, Monday through Friday. There will be a weekend rotation, requiring at least one weekend day per week.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Echocardiographer to perform adult echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in utilizing Definity Contrast and diagnosing cardiac conditions, including shortness of breath (SOB) and chest pain. Experience with the Philips imaging system and Cerner charting system is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2D and 3D echocardiograms.
• Conduct bubble studies and pharmacologic stress echocardiograms.
• Utilize contrast agents for enhanced imaging.
• Document findings in Cerner system accurately.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of echocardiography experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• ARDMS or CCI certification preferred.
• Valid Maryland or Compact license required at the time of submission.
