Job Title

Position at Samtec, Inc Summary/Objective: Perform, configure, design, and analyze signal integrity test systems for measuring high speed twinaxial cable assemblies.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

• Run High Speed Electrical Test (HSET) equipment and report results.
• Configure HSET for Samtec products.
• Design multilayer circuit boards for use with HSET.
• Analyze test data to determine root causes of failure.
• Work with and support global facilities performing HSET.
• Manage projects through project management systems.

Required Experience

• 1 year performing electrical diagnosis of systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with computer programming using high level programming languages such as Python, C, C++, Rust, Java, etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Lifting Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds from floor to waist.
• Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes and not suffer from any sensory deprivation and/or paralysis of the limbs.
