Location: Outside Dallas, TX

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Salary: $70,000/year

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Production Supervisor to join a growing manufacturing operation located just outside of Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive manufacturing and proven experience leading production teams in a fast-paced environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who understands production, quality, safety, and efficiency and can motivate a team while keeping operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily production activities and ensure production schedules and goals are met
Lead, train, coach, and develop production employees
Monitor production performance, quality, safety, and efficiency
Identify and resolve production issues and production bottlenecks
Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and other departments to support production
Ensure employees follow company policies, safety procedures, and standard work instructions
Monitor staffing and coordinate employee assignments based on production needs
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and cost
Investigate root causes of production and quality issues and implement corrective actions
Maintain a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment
Provide production updates and communicate issues to management

Qualifications

Solid experience in automotive manufacturing is required
Previous experience as a Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Supervisor, or similar leadership role
Proven ability to lead and manage production teams
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production operations
Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Continuous Improvement, or Root Cause Analysis is a plus
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of an organization
