The nurse will provide care during the pre-operative and phase 2 recovery stages. Key skills include anticoagulation therapy, conscious sedation, and medication reconciliation. The role involves monitoring and managing patients post-surgery. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency with charting systems, preferably Epic. Strong communication skills and the ability to interpret lab values are essential. Candidates should be familiar with recovery protocols and patient education related to discharge. This position entails working with diverse patient populations, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Candidates must be willing to work holidays as required.
