You will collaborate with school staff and families to promote student independence, address diverse learning needs, and foster skill development for students across all grade levels.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapist license in the state
• Experience in school-based OT or a related pediatric setting
• Strong foundation in both fine and gross motor skill development
• Knowledge of individualized education program (IEP) processes
• Ability to supervise and work alongside Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students as outlined in IEPs
• Assess student abilities and establish targeted interventions to support learning and daily functioning
• Provide direct and consultative services for students, families, and staff
• Document progress, maintain records, and participate actively in meetings
• Adapt therapy sessions and strategies based on student progress and goals
• Bring creative problem-solving and enthusiasm to support every learner
