Together, we’re not just building structures—we’re building a legacy of quality, integrity, and purpose.JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIESThoroughly understand project plans, specifications, owner contracts, HGC Master Subcontractor Agreements (MSA), and project scopes of work.Assist with subcontractor prequalification, bidding, buyout, and scope development processes.Attend pre-bid walk-throughs and participate in subcontractor scope review meetings.Review subcontractor bids for completeness and compliance.Prepare subcontractor scopes of work for bidding and buyout.Maintain project drawings, specifications, directories, and information in Procore and shared drives.Request, track, and review subcontractor and supplier submittals, shop drawings, product samples, and RFIs.Create and monitor procurement logs and track permits for HGC and trade subcontractors.Manage project meeting agendas and minutes.Build and update project schedules in Phoenix software.Implement Lean project standards, including weekly work plans, look-ahead schedules, and pull-planning meetings.Manage project cost controls and report project financial status to management.Understand and apply Viewpoint standards, including job startup and job cost setup.Manage all aspects of project closeout, including tracking, collecting, assembling, and delivering final closeout documentation to clients.Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field3-7 years’ experience as a co-op and project engineer or equivalentOSHA 30 certificationExperience with Viewpoint, Procore, and Phoenix schedulingExperience with higher education projects is a plusFollow all OSHA, EPA, ODH, company and site-specific safety policies and proceduresHuseman Group is an EOE/M/F/D/V - Alcohol- and Drug-Free WorkplaceHuseman Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer and maintains an Alcohol- and Drug-Free Workplace.
