Job Responsibilities - What You Will Be Engaged In

• Conduct a variety of routine and complex clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-following established protocols.
• Interpret test results for accuracy, rectify errors, and perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and ensure proper preparation of samples for analysis as needed.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, mentor newly hired staff or students, and assist in maintaining high lab quality standards.
• Uphold a clean and safe working environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Educational Background

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Hold ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Ensure continuation of relevant certification throughout your tenure.
