About the Position

Job Title: Pharmacist Inpatient Profession: Pharmacist Specialty: Inpatient Pharmacy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Nights Hours per Shift: 9 PM to 7 AM, 7 on, 7 off Experience: Minimum 1 year License: WI License Preferred Certifications: BLS, BCPS Preferred Must-Have: - Inpatient staffing experience - Vancomycin AUC dosing - Aminoglycosides dosing - Heparin dosing/monitoring - TPN management/monitoring - Understanding of USP 797 Description: The position requires coverage in various areas, including ICU, IMC, ED, Med-Surg, OR, cardiac cath, EPS, central pharmacy. IV Room experience is not required, but the candidate must understand USP 797. Minimal chemotherapy is done; experience includes preparing gemcitabine or mitomycin for urology surgery and occasional methotrexate for ectopic pregnancies. Shifts are scheduled Monday through Friday with varying start times, including central and decentralized shifts. Weekend work is required every 3rd or 4th weekend. Holiday work is also required. The dispensing system used is Omnicell. Dress code includes scrubs that are clean and professional or business casual. All clinicians must clock in and out while on duty.
