People Services Manager

Role Description
The People Services Manager leads all HR functions for Gravitate, reporting directly to the CFO and serving as the organization’s primary expert in HR strategy and execution. The role oversees core areas such as:
- Talent acquisition
- Employee relations
- Benefits administration
- Compliance
- Onboarding
- Performance management
- Organizational development
As the company's lead HR professional, you will play a critical role in cultivating a collaborative, inclusive, and connected employee experience that supports both business goals and employee success across a remote-first workforce. It is a highly independent, decision-making position that requires strong judgment, confidentiality, and the ability to design and implement programs that foster a high-trust, high-autonomy culture.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to operate independently with sound judgment and discretion.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Google Workspace.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Creative problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including HR generalist or HR manager roles.
- Experience in a high-growth tech or software company is strongly preferred.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, employment immigration, recruiting, and benefits administration.
- Knowledge of U.S. labor laws and employment regulations.
