Description What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical lab tests in areas like chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond, adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and execute preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as needed.
• Meticulously document all procedures, assist with training new staff or students, and contribute to upholding laboratory quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, secure working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be achieved within one year of hire.
• Maintain current certification throughout your employment.
