What You'll Do

As an Operations Clerk, you will play a key role in ensuring shipments are accurately registered, tracked, and managed throughout the transportation process.

Responsibilities include:

• Enter and maintain shipment and order information with a high degree of accuracy
• Track shipments and communicate with carriers, vendors, railroads, and transportation providers
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email
• Monitor incoming communications and provide timely updates
• Research and resolve shipment issues and service concerns
• Maintain accurate records in company databases
• Review data for accuracy and correct discrepancies
• Process, scan, and organize documentation
• Support departmental goals, KPIs, and customer satisfaction initiatives
• Assist with various administrative and operational tasks as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Comfortable collaborating with customers, vendors, carriers, and internal teams
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM and 10-key proficiency
• Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associate Degree or related coursework preferred
• Minimum 2 years of administrative, logistics, transportation, or related experience
• Import/export, transportation, or logistics experience preferred
