Job Summary Astound is looking for a door‑to‑door sales representative for Small Business customers in assigned geographical areas. The role involves building relationships, generating sales of Astound services including Fiber Internet, Voice, Hosted Voice, and related products. Responsibilities Develop positive relationships within the region’s communities and develop key territory strategies toward acquiring new business. Perform door‑to‑door sales of Astound business services, including Fiber Internet, Voice, Hosted Voice and other related products. Meet individual performance requirements and monthly quota for new Small Business customers. Manage and self‑track day‑to‑day sales activity to report to Regional Sales Manager. Understand sales funnel and manage daily, weekly, monthly customer work orders to ensure timely follow‑up. Ensure all required paperwork is legible, complete and submitted timely. Seek opportunities with customers to enhance the company’s image; provide customer focus, professional representation of the company. Maintain a thorough understanding of systems’ prices, channels, services and packages to potential customers. Frequent driving, walking, bending and reaching; occasional exposure to inclement weather, uneven surfaces, hills, stairs, heights; occasional use of standard office equipment. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications 1–2 years of practical experience canvassing or cold‑calling small and medium‑sized business customers (preferable). Hunter mentality; comfortable with in‑person, door‑to‑door selling of Astound services. Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey features, benefits and pricing. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent detail orientation and follow‑through skills. Strong discretionary judgment regarding confidential information. Flexible schedule; some nights and weekends required. Strong organization skills, accuracy, and attention to detail. Willingness and ability to quickly learn industry, regional communities, and customers. Ability to build relationships with local chambers and attend trade fairs to build brand awareness. Ability to work in a standard office environment; no hazardous conditions. Capability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs on a frequent basis. Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record. Commissions at plan: targeted commissions at full attainment equal $21,600 annually. Total compensation offers potential upside above targeted earnings for overachievers.
