Technical Recruiter

I'm working with a fast-growing AI hardware company building a clean-sheet processor specifically designed for frontier large language models. The company is developing its first-generation compute platform from the ground up for large-model training, reinforcement learning, prefill and decode, with a focus on improving throughput, latency, memory efficiency and performance per dollar at massive scale. They recently raised a major Series B, bringing total reported funding to well over half a billion dollars, and are now scaling the team as they move from architecture and development toward manufacturing and product delivery. This is a high-ownership recruiting role for someone who understands how to hire highly specialized technical talent across silicon, hardware, systems and software. You'll work on Owning full-cycle recruiting across highly technical hardware, silicon and systems roles Hiring engineers across RTL, microarchitecture, design verification, physical design, SoC architecture, power architecture, systems and software Partnering directly with engineering leadership and hiring managers to understand highly specialized technical requirements Building targeted sourcing strategies for difficult-to-hire engineering profiles in competitive markets Developing and maintaining strong talent pipelines across semiconductor, AI hardware and deep-tech communities Running initial candidate screens and assessing technical background, motivations and overall alignment Adapting quickly as hiring priorities shift across a rapidly scaling startup environment Providing leadership with clear, data-driven reporting on pipeline health, hiring progress and recruiting performance Helping shape recruiting processes, candidate experience and hiring strategy as the company continues to scale Requirements 3-5 years of technical recruiting experience, ideally within hardware, semiconductor, systems, AI or another deeply technical environment Experience recruiting for roles such as RTL, microarchitecture, design verification, physical design, SoC architecture or related hardware disciplines Strong understanding of technical sourcing and the ability to identify high-quality candidates in specialized talent markets Experience working in an early-stage or high-growth environment where priorities can change quickly Proven track record of hiring strong engineering talent in competitive markets Comfortable owning the recruiting process from outbound sourcing through screening and candidate management Strong communication skills and the ability to build credibility with both engineers and senior leadership Highly organized, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple searches simultaneously Experience recruiting within AI hardware, accelerators, semiconductor startups or LLM infrastructure is particularly valuable. A technical or engineering background is a strong bonus. Experience with Ashby or a similar ATS is useful. You'll join a highly technical team with backgrounds spanning Google TPU, large-model software and senior semiconductor engineering, helping build the organization behind a first-generation AI compute platform. This is a rare opportunity to recruit across the full hardware and software stack at a point where the company is still defining its architecture, engineering culture and hiring processes. The environment is fast-moving and highly collaborative. They're looking for someone who can understand complex technical profiles, build strong relationships with engineering teams and take real ownership over scaling the organization.
