General Information
- Location: Preferred in Bethpage, NY, but open to remote work in the US or Canada. The team operates on EST.
- Duration: Strategic roles with undefined contract lengths; retention depends on performance.
- Furlough: Furloughs typically occur during the Christmas/New Year period and may vary depending on project needs.
- Hours: Maximum 40 hours per week. Any overtime requires prior written approval from the SVP
- Submission process: Include a cover letter, summary, or synopsis with the submission.
- Interview Process: Two rounds of interviews.
- Ability to define product roadmaps and track progress.
- Act as the gatekeeper for requirements and conduct research for product improvements.
- Collaborate closely with IT, Engineering, and Marketing to translate requirements into actionable tasks.
- Strong communication skills.
- Telecom industry experience is preferred
- Roadmap & Strategy: Develop digital product roadmaps, manage backlogs, and translate market needs into actionable plans.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with IT, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience teams for product development and launches.
- Product Lifecycle: Oversee planning, execution, and delivery, from concept to benefit realization.
- Data & Analytics: Use data (KPIs, user feedback, market trends) for decision-making, performance monitoring, and ROI.
- Customer Focus: Drive improvements in product quality, performance (speed, latency), and user experience.
- Problem Solving: Investigate persistent issues, find root causes, and implement solutions to reduce escalations.
- Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering: Lead or support requirements gathering activities, including:
- Business process analysis and current/future state mapping
- Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable user stories.
- Experience: 3-5+ years in Product Management/Operations, preferably in Telecom/Tech.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Broadband (DOCSIS, Fiber), Wi-Fi, SQL, Jira, Confluence, Tableau.
- Analytical: Strong ability to interpret data, analyze KPIs, and develop data-driven strategies.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management.
