Key Responsibilities As an LMFT at California Neurobehavioral Associates, you will be essential in promoting mental well-being through a variety of specialized tasks: Assess and diagnose mental health disorders by recognizing symptoms and applying engaging treatment interventions tailored to each individual.CLIENTS RELY ON YOUR EXPERTISE. Work collaboratively with clients to develop comprehensive and customized treatment plans, track progress rigorously, and make necessary adjustments based on feedback and treatment efficacy. Ensure client confidentiality at all times, adhering to the highest ethical standards in therapy practice. Engage in interprofessional collaboration, working alongside other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to client care. Act as a steadfast advocate for clients, navigating adversity and providing support in crisis situations to resolve immediate challenges. Pursue ongoing professional development opportunities, including supervision, workshops, and advanced training to enhance your skills and therapeutic approach. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on diverse populations, including individuals facing mental health challenges, couples seeking to improve their relationships, and families navigating complex dynamics. You will address a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, and relational conflicts, utilizing evidence-based techniques tailored to each client’s unique needs. Qualifications Candidates are required to hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and possess an active LMFT license in California, with no history of disciplinary actions. A strong commitment to ethical practices and client confidentiality is paramount. Additionally, you should possess knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and systems theory. Preferred Experience A minimum of two years of clinical experience as an LMFT is preferred. Familiarity with telehealth practices and experience managing a caseload in a remote setting will be highly advantageous. Experience working with specific populations, such as children, adolescents, or ethnic minorities, may be particularly beneficial. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $130,000, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
