The Construction Field Manager is responsible for onsite construction observation, communication, and coordination in a Construction Management role, acting as an Owner’s Agent. The manager observes and reports on the contractor’s progress and adherence to the project schedule, monitors the contractor’s field labor force, coordinates contractors, documents measurements for payment, inspects work for compliance with specifications, performs quality acceptance testing, notifies the Owner of issues, and works with the contractor to resolve minor issues without guidance. Required Qualifications 7+ years of industry experience in day‑to‑day on‑site oversight of contractor’s labor force, reviewing and approving contractor payment applications; reviewing schedules; enforcing OSHA requirements; developing and implementing site logistics plans; conducting quality assurance inspections; assisting in coordination of site testing and inspection efforts; preparing daily reports; monitoring costs, including labor time and material. 7+ years of experience reading and understanding construction plans, drawings, and technical specifications, with strong understanding of construction means and methods for various construction types. 7+ years as a Superintendent or Construction Manager managing commercial building projects ranging from $5 million to $50 million, managing projects from initiation through completion. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; or 8years equivalent experience plus minimum 7years prior relevant experience.
