Business Development Representative Department: Sales Employment Type: Permanent Location: Burlington, Massachusetts Compensation: $90,000 - $105,000 / year Description Highwire, a Veriforce company, is the Contractor Success Platform for asset owners, general contractors, and facilities managers. The world's most admired organizations use Highwire to ensure their contractors and subcontractors deliver great work, on budget and on schedule, by collaborating with them to dynamically mitigate safety, financial, quality, and sustainability risks during capital projects and facilities maintenance. We're looking for a Business Development Representative to open new doors for our sales team and build and nurture our sales pipeline. As part of our BDR team, your work will directly contribute to the company's growth and success. As a Business Development Representative, your goal is to generate revenue by moving prospective clients into our sales pipeline. You'll proactively source and engage our clients across various industry verticals (pharma, tech, hospitals, and large general contractors, to name a few).

Our BDR team is also a key pipeline for future Account Executives, making this a strong path for long-term growth within the sales organization. What you'll do:
- Develop a robust sales funnel. In partnership with the sales and marketing team, you will target specific buyer personas with cold outbound campaigns and capitalize on inbound leads generated from digital campaigns and events.
- Deliver qualified meetings . You will be responsible for setting up meetings for Account Executives with prospective clients. You'll aim to deliver 12 qualified meetings each month through your targeted outreach.
- Nurture the existing pipeline. Our sales cycle is complex and can span several months. To keep prospects engaged, you will research and engage additional decision-makers to strengthen the opportunity's progression through our sales funnel.
- Relentless . When you see an opportunity with a prospective client, you don't stop until you have secured a meeting or spoken with your intended audience. Your targeted and persistent outreach drives real results.
- Hard-working. You are obsessed with beating your numbers and pay close attention to your output by managing your time wisely. You prepare in advance and organize your day to maximize your impact.
- Engaging communicator. You are creative in your outreach and comfortable navigating technical industry discussions with potential clients. Once a connection is made, your persuasive and professional communication will move them into our sales pipeline.
