Welder - 3rd Shift

Climate-controlled shop – stay comfortable year-round Consistent schedules with built-in long weekends 11.5% shift premium on all hours worked Work on varied, high-quality metal components, not repetitive low-skill production Available Shifts 3rd Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM Includes an additional 11.5% premium on top of base pay Responsibilities & Authorities Set up and weld components for sheet metal products using MIG (primary) and TIG (as needed); opportunities to learn robotic welding and laser welding Secure parts using fixtures, jigs, and holding tables Work with carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, galvanneal, and exotic metals Read and interpret blueprints to meet precise specifications Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) Troubleshoot weld issues and maintain high-quality standards What We’re Looking For Proven MIG welding experience on carbon steel (required) TIG experience (stainless steel & aluminum) is a plus Fitter/Welder experience is a plus Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Basic computer skills and effective communication Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, squat, and climb for most of the shift Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs (with lifting devices when possible) Work in tight or confined spaces as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr Southern Specialties
