Direct Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to provide exceptional support and assistance to our clients in Pontiac, MI. As a Direct Care Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals maintain their independence and improve their quality of life through personalized care and support. Responsibilities Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Assist clients with medication reminders and monitoring health conditions as instructed. Support clients in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care. Document client care and report any changes in condition to supervisors promptly. Maintain client privacy and confidentiality at all times. Requirements Previous experience in direct care or a related healthcare field is a plus. Compassionate and patient with strong interpersonal skills. Ability to follow care plans and work independently. Reliable transportation to and from client locations.
