Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to patients under the supervision of licensed nursing staff
• Monitor patients' medication regimens to ensure accuracy and efficacy
• Provide basic nursing care, such as vital sign measurements and personal care
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide emotional support to patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and medication administration
• Participate in educational in-services and training programs to stay current with industry developments

Requirements

• Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in healthcare or related field preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
