Research Coordinator II - School of Public Health (San Antonio)

In this role, you will help oversee our service project, setting up pop‑up clinics in laundromats/washers. Ideal candidate should have prior experience in a public health setting. Functions in a leadership capacity in the program. Position Key Accountabilities Oversees all aspects of program activities. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors project progress. Develops, implements, and manages policies and procedures. May manage/maintain annual budget, negotiate service contracts, report on progress, and/or authorize expenditures. Inform upper management of key activities and make periodic progress reports. Works closely with internal departments regarding strategy and collaborative opportunities. May assist in the preparation of progress reports and grant proposals to both private foundations and governmental agencies. Working in conjunction with Public Affairs, may create and edit various communication materials, website content, and/or department newsletters. Communicates with the community and professionals to share objectives and outcomes. Prepares or makes oral presentations at professional meetings. Performs other duties as assigned. Certification/Skills None Minimum Education Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required. May substitute required education with equivalent years of experience beyond the minimum experience requirement. Minimum Experience 2 years of relevant experience required. May substitute required experience with equivalent years of education beyond the minimum education requirement. Physical Requirements Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects. Security Sensitive This position is a security‑sensitive position pursuant to Texas Education Code and other relevant statutes. Personnel may be subject to routine reviews regarding security or integrity of critical infrastructure.
