About The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you'll have the autonomy to grow and manage your own territory while building meaningful customer relationships, driving operational improvements, and creating long-term business value.

You'll build relationships with dealership leaders, fixed operations teams, collision centers, and repair facilities while identifying opportunities to improve operational performance, supply chain efficiency, profitability, and customer experience.

You'll spend your time in the field meeting customers face-to-face, building long-term partnerships, solving problems, negotiating agreements, and helping customers improve measurable business performance.

What You'll Do

Drive Business Growth

  • Prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities
  • Build strategic partnerships with dealership and collision center leadership
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and long-term business partnerships
  • Execute territory growth strategies that drive revenue and market expansion
  • Maintain an active pipeline through networking, referrals, relationship building, and consistent field engagement

Build Relationships That Last

  • Meet customers face-to-face on a daily basis
  • Become a trusted advisor within your market
  • Deliver ongoing operational support and strategic guidance
  • Build long-term partnerships rooted in trust, consistency, accountability, and performance

Consult, Strategize & Solve Problems

  • Analyze operational workflows, purchasing trends, and supply chain opportunities
  • Deliver data-driven recommendations that improve profitability and ROI
  • Help customers optimize sourcing strategies, inventory performance, operational efficiency, and cycle times
  • Utilize AI tools, reporting platforms, and analytics to identify growth opportunities and improve performance

  • Operate independently while managing your territory like your own business
  • Manage time, priorities, customer relationships, and growth opportunities effectively

What We're Looking For

Required

  • Proven success in commission-based sales environments
  • History of exceeding revenue goals, negotiating contracts, and driving innovative business growth
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial sales environment
  • Confidence in face-to-face customer interaction and territory management
  • Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to leverage technology, AI tools, data, and analytics to improve business performance
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • CRM software and Microsoft Office experience
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred

  • Automotive, dealership, collision, repair, or supply chain industry experience
  • Experience selling operational solutions, services, or consulting programs
  • Background in business development, strategic sales, consulting, or supply chain optimization

Experience Requirements

  • Outside/Field Sales: 2+ years required
  • CRM Software: 2+ years required
  • Microsoft Excel and Data Analysis: 4+ years required
  • Automotive Industry Experience: Preferred
  • Ability to leverage data, ROI metrics, and business insights to drive growth: preferred
